Wolffkran has launched the WOLFF 8038 Clear, a new flat-top crane designed for large-scale projects like airports, industrial facilities and data centers. The crane offers exceptional lifting capacity and is easy to assemble, making it the largest flat-top crane in the Wolffkran portfolio, competing in the 560-metric-ton class.
With an 80-meter jib and a maximum lifting capacity of 20 tons, the WOLFF 8038 Clear combines the performance of a hammerhead crane with the practical advantages of a flat-top design. Its point-bearing capacity of 3.8 tons at an 80-meter radius is highly competitive. An optional jib extension increases the length to 85 meters while still supporting 2.1 tons at the top.
The crane features an optimized, smart jib design, which reduces material costs by 10% and cuts assembly weight by 20%. The WOLFF 8038 Clear also includes ergonomic assembly aids, such as bolt depots that reduce physical strain on workers.
For safety and convenience, the crane can be equipped with a second hoist brake and the WOLFF High-Speed Positioning System (HiSPS). It is also pre-equipped for an under-hook camera system, which allows operators to monitor loads with precision.
Available with a 75 kW or 110 kW hoist winch, the WOLFF 8038 Clear operates at speeds up to 190 meters per minute. The crane also includes an energy-saving mode to reduce power consumption when full capacity is not needed. Designed for global use, it can be easily transported and assembled on-site, with minimal space requirements.
