November 23, 2005 — Greenwich, Conn.-based United Rentals announced it has opened a new branch in Salt Lake City, Utah. The 11,000-square-foot facility located at 40 E. 3300 South St. will provide customers with equipment rentals, new and used equipment sales, repair and maintenance services, and comprehensive line of contractor supplies.
According to Evan Salmon, branch manager for United Rentals, a billion-dollar redevelopment project recently started in downtown Salt Lake City, and several other large-scale construction projects have been given the green light. "Many of our customers are already participating in this growth,” Salmon said. “Our new branch is fully prepared to provide the equipment, supplies, and services our customers need."
The Salt Lake City branch carries a broad range of equipment for commercial and industrial construction, renovation and maintenance, including the latest aerial work platforms. United Rentals also offers equipment delivery, certified safety and professional operator training, and 24-hour emergency response.
