Two More United Rentals Branches Open

August 26, 2005Chester, Pa., and Weldon Spring, Mo., are home to the most recent branch openings for United Rentals, Inc., headquartered in Greenwich, Conn. The new pump, power, and HVAC equipment rental site, located in Chester, Pa., will offer temporary power generation, pumps, fluid handling, electrical testing, and climate control equipment for commercial and industrial use.

"Chester's unique position along the Northeast Corridor, and its access to two major interstate highways as well as air, water, and rail routes, has stimulated tremendous growth in the non-residential construction market here," said David Arnholt, branch manager for United Rentals. "We are pleased to participate in this thriving economy through the opening of our new pump and power rental location."

The branch in Weldon Spring, Mo., will serve customers throughout the greater St. Louis metropolitan area with equipment rentals, new and used equipment sales (including aerial work platforms), repair and maintenance services, and a comprehensive line of contractor supplies.

"Weldon Spring has experienced tremendous growth in both residential and non-residential construction in the last five years," said Nick Reitz, branch manager for United Rentals. "By expanding our service to customers in this area, we have stepped up to fill a need for quality equipment, service, and supplies."
