Terex Introduces Compact Telehandler
April 7, 2004 -Terex, Westport , Conn. , announces the TX5519 telescopic handler to replace the TX5119. The TX5519 features a new cab design with rounded profile and an ergonomically designed interior.
The TX5519 is rated at 5,500 pounds lift capacity and has a maximum lift height of 18'10.4" with a forward reach of 11'3.4". Standard features include a variable speed hydrostatic drive and fully hydraulic proportional boom controls for smooth and precise positioning. A new larger hydraulic pump improves speed and allows simultaneous multiple boom functions.
Operators can choose from three drive modes: two-wheel or four-wheel drive or crab steer. The telescopic handler is powered by a Deutz F4M-2011 63 hp oil-cooled diesel engine.
