Terex Cranes to Premiere New Products at Intermat

March 6, 2006 -- At the Intermat show, to be held April 24-29 in Paris, Terex plans to introduce several new excavators, wheel loaders, aerial working platforms, and cranes, including telescopic, tower, and rough-terrain models. Lifting capacity of the six cranes that will be on display at the show ranges from 30 tons to 300 tons.

Two Terex Demag mobile cranes will be exhibited, including the AC 70 City, a member of the successful CityClass line, of which more than 1,000 machines have so far been sold worldwide.

Terex PPM will also display several machines. The new AC 55-1 will be presented to the specialist audience for the first time. For this new edition of the AC 55, which has been going strong since 2003, the axle weight could be reduced substantially by installing a new telescoping system, while lifting capacity has been increased. With a 131 feet main boom length and 32-foot radius, the increase in lifting capacity amounts to more than 20 percent.

Two successful Terex Comedil tower cranes will also be showcased: the CTT 121-5 and CBR 24-H. Terex Bendini's RC 45, a high-performance rough-terrain crane, will top off the presentation.
