The Bendini RT 660B is one of two new rough-terrain cranes now available from Terex.

September 22, 2005
— To meet the increasing U.S. demand for rough-terrain cranes, Terex announced today that it is now offering the Bendini RT 440B and RT 660B. These machines will be sold and serviced through Terex American in Wilmington, NC. Both cranes are manufactured at the Terex Italia plant in Crespellano, Italy.

The RT 440B, a 40-ton maximum lifting capacity model, is powered by a Cummins B 5.9-152 engine and features a 123-foot maximum boom length and 128-foot maximum tip height. The main winch is equipped with 16mm wire rope, and the auxiliary winch is equipped with 15mm wire rope.

Featuring a 60-ton maximum lifting capacity, the RT 660B is powered by a Cummins 5.9-205 engine. The 660B features a 106-foot maximum boom length and 115-foot maximum tip height. The main winch on the 660B is equipped with 18mm wire rope, and the auxiliary winch is equipped with 15mm wire rope.

Both cranes feature fully independent multi-position out and down outriggers, an environmental operator's cab that optimizes load visibility and productivity, two-speed main and auxiliary winches, and a 12-month or 2,000-hour warranty. The counterweight is integrated into the superstructure on each of these machines. The single boom hoist cylinder provides boom elevation of -2° to 78° for close radius operation.

The first unit of each model has been sold to crane rental company Ray Anthony International in Deerfield Beach, Florida.
