Tadano has introduced the eGR-1000XLL-1, North America’s first fully electric rough-terrain crane, bringing zero-emission technology to heavy-duty lifting.
This new electric model matches the powerful 100-ton lifting capability of Tadano's GR-1000XLL-4 but operates with a quiet, eco-friendly design. Its lithium-ion battery pack allows up to seven hours of lifting, or five hours of lifting with an additional 5.5 miles of travel around the job site.
The eGR-1000XLL-1 runs solely on battery power, reducing annual carbon dioxide emissions by around 48,500 pounds. It offers flexible charging options, including standard 480 VAC and a faster CCS1 rapid charge. For convenience, rapid charging can replenish the battery in two to three hours, while standard charging takes 4.5 to 5.5 hours.
This crane also includes Tadano’s Lift Visualizer, which provides enhanced safety through a load-monitoring camera, and the EVOLT App, allowing operators to track battery status and job progress in real time.
Equipped with the AML Control System and HELLO-NET telematics, the eGR-1000XLL-1 delivers efficiency, operational insights, and simplified diagnostics for the modern worksite.
Tadano’s Green Solutions initiative aims to reduce carbon emissions across the board, marking the eGR-1000XLL-1 as a significant step toward sustainable construction practices in North America.
