Sunbelt Rentals Acquires Commercial Surroundings

August 23, 2005 • Sunbelt Rentals, Charlotte, N.C., announced that it has acquired Commercial Surroundings, a single location rental operation located in Venice, Fla. The new branch adds to Sunbelt's recent growth in Florida, including opening a new general rental location in Miami this spring and acquiring seven former HSS RentX locations in South Florida in May.

 

The acquisition increases the number of Sunbelt Rentals outlets in the Florida Gulf to nine as Sunbelt continues to grow its general tool, construction equipment, and specialty rental businesses throughout the Sarasota, Tampa, Oldsmar and Ft. Myers markets.
