Study Finds 12% of Dealer Sales Reps Generating Close to Half of Sales

June 15, 2005 — According to a recent report from the Associated Equipment Distributors (AED), its “2005 Sales Compensation Study,” which is soon to be released, 40% of sales in 2004 were made by the top 12% of dealer sales reps. A comparison of data from the association's previous surveys revealed that the concentration of sales is being made by a smaller percentage of sales reps in 2005 than in 2003, when 15% of sales reps produced 40% of sales.
