March 23, 2005 • Snorkel International, Elwood, Kan., unveiled at ConExpo a newly improved MHP trailer-mounted aerial lift, a long-time top seller for the company. The MHP 13/35, built in New Zealand, offers a platform height of 35 feet and 19 feet of maximum horizontal reach. Features include variable speed control; a jib with 140° combined horizontal movement and platform rotation; and 540° non-continuous turret rotation.

Power comes from a Honda 5.5 hp engine with bi-energy as an option. There are also many other power configurations, including 24 volt DC, 120/240 VAC, and diesel. Hydraulic outriggers are independently operated. The boom and basket feature all-steel construction. List price for the standard gas powered unit is $31,900.
