Snorkel Officially Buys Back Facility

October 19, 2005 — As of October 14, 2005, Snorkel International, Elwood, Kan., owns the location where it currently manufactures machines. The company recently announced the purchase of its office and plant, including assembly and parts (shipping/warehouse) facilities, from former owner Textron Inc.

“This has been our long-term plan since restarting the company,” said Frank Scarborough, executive vice president and COO. “It's just another step in our organization's progress as we revitalize the company. Plus, this indicates the confidence our investors have in the future of the company and our current management team.”

Snorkel International has continued to strengthen and grow the business over the past few years, going from a handful of employees in 2002 to approximately 400 employees at present.
