December 21, 2005 • Skyjack Inc., Guelph, Ontario, will introduce Compact 6826RT and 6832RT scissor lifts during the American Rental Association's 2006 Rental Show in February. Featuring a 68-inch width, the units offer 26- and 32-foot platform heights, respectively. Standard features include a dual fuel engine, cross-over symmetrical four-wheel drive, and 5-foot roll-out deck extension. On the platform, maximum capacity is 1,250 pounds and the unit is drivable at full height.

With ease of maintenance in mind, other key features include a 90° swing-out engine tray and tilt-out hydraulic manifold. “The newly designed manifold tilts out for easy access and the engine swings out completely for service via a single quick release latch.” explains Dave Stewart, Skyjack's vice president of sales and marketing.

The units feature a number of upgrades and are “priced to help combat today's competitive rental rates,” said Stewart. Tthe new Compact 6826RT and 6832RT models will be available in the latter part of Q1 of 2006 for the North American market and start of Q3 of 2006 for the European CE version.
