July 7, 2004 - Manitowoc Crane Group and Shuttlelift announced late last month that they have reached an agreement for supply of Shuttlelift's industrial cranes on an OEM-basis to Manitowoc Crane Group, Manitowoc, Wis. The industrial cranes, which include seven models, will be sold under the Grove brand name and will be sold worldwide exclusively by Manitowoc Crane Group.

Over the years Grove's own industrial crane line has been whittled down to just one model, the 4415. The new line, which ranges in capacity from 8.5 to 20 tons, replaces the 4415 and will be manufactured at Shuttlelift's Sturgeon Bay , Wis. , manufacturing facility. The cranes will be available beginning in the third quarter of 2004.

Glen Tellock, president of Manitowoc Crane Group, said: "[Shuttlelift's] products and industry dedication fits well with Manitowoc 's philosophy of providing the best-valued products to our customers. Shuttlelift has a thorough understanding of our market needs, comprehensive engineering resources, and excellent manufacturing capabilities. We look forward to a highly beneficial business relationship for both parties."
