Pictured above is one of two new Scanlift XS Series of towable boom lifts.
The Scanlift XS 240 has a 73-foot platform height and 506-pound platform capacity but weighs only 10,600 pounds. The lessened weight makes transporting easier and allows operation in areas that require low ground pressure. The XS 240 features proportional hydraulic controls and automatic self-leveling outriggers for quick and easy set-up.
The Scanlift XS 190 has a 61-foot platform height, 506 pounds of platform capacity, and a low 8,140 vehicle weight. Aside from its full hydraulic controls, the XS 190 has many of the same features as the larger XS 240.
Both Scanlift models are powered by Kubota diesel engines. Featuring high/low speed selectors, the XS 190 can be driven up 2.25 mph, while the XS 240 can be driven up to 3 mph. Four-wheel drive provides 35% gradeability, and an oscillating front axle increases maneuverability on rough-terrain jobsites.
Other standard features include a 33”x70” platform, 90° hydraulic platform rotation, 360° continuous boom rotation, and three steering modes: front-wheel, four-wheel, and crab.
