Features of Rubig's safety linch pins include: 

1. Drop forged steel shaft with safety-catch;
2. A third hole for fixing the safety chain;
3. Hardened to 1.200-1.400 N/mm²;
4. A spring made of spring steel wire; and 
5. The shaft and spring galvanized and thick film passivated.

 

All Rubig safety linch pins exceed the minimum values required by DIN 11023.
