RSC Promotes Erik Olsson to COO

January 19, 2005—Effective March 1, 2005, Erik Olsson has been appointed chief operating officer for Rental Service Corp., Scottsdale, Ariz. Olsson fills the position vacated by Tom Zorn, who was recently named CEO.

 

Olsson has been employed by Atlas Copco, the parent company of RSC, for more than 16 years. Since 2001 he has served as the chief financial officer for RSC.

 

“Erik has been an integral part of the team that has restored the profitability of Rental Service and he has an extensive international experience, including many senior financial positions in Sweden, Brazil and the United States,” said Zorn.
