PALFINGER, a global leader in lifting solutions, has announced a strategic partnership with Servicios Industriales Gonzales (SIG), a Monterrey-based producer of heavy structural weldments. The companies have signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) to enhance PALFINGER's supply chain and operational efficiency in North America.
Under the agreement, SIG will supply welded components crucial for PALFINGER's cable hoist, service crane and aerial work platform products. The partnership is set to improve the reliability and performance of PALFINGER’s offerings by ensuring a steady supply of high-quality parts.
“SIG’s ability to deliver high-quality products at competitive prices will enable us to focus on our core strengths, such as assembly while ensuring we meet our customers’ needs efficiently,” PALFINGER Senior Vice President of Supplier Management, Harald Hauser, said.
The signing of the LOI with SIG highlights PALFINGER’s dedication to forging strategic partnerships that advance innovation, efficiency and customer satisfaction — key components of its Strategy 2030. This collaboration is crucial for PALFINGER as it works to bolster its regional presence and achieve long-term success.
“We are grateful for the faith and confidence that is placed in us. We are also happy to contribute with the experience and know-how of many years of continuing growth that PALFINGER has had year after year. The SIG-PALFINGER partnership will generate good collaboration and engagement to support the vision and expansion of both organizations,” Fernando Arellano, general manager of SIG, said.
