NLE Adds to its Company Offerings, Names New Vice President

NLE Vice President Michael Dougherty
January 26, 2006 — Major equipment wholesaler National Lift Equipment (NLE), Bristol, Pa., has expanded its offerings in its construction equipment business by including attachments, parts, and service in addition to its equipment sales. Attachments range from forklift personnel platforms to truss booms to buckets, while parts are available for most makes and models of scissor lifts, boom lifts, telehandlers, industrial and rough-terrain forklifts, and more. Freight services also can now be arranged through NLE, whether or not the equipment was purchased from them.

“We are now a total source for construction companies looking to buy or sell equipment,” said Rock Gillette, president of NLE. “They can depend on NLE to supply lifts and loaders with the right attachments for a job, ship them to a site, and keep them in running condition.”

To help manage NLE's expanded offerings, the company has promoted Michael Dougherty from sales manager to vice president. Dougherty joined NLE in 2002 as an equipment broker. “In his new position, he will focus on growing our new offerings alongside our existing equipment business, and making sure customers get the forward-looking service they have come to expect from us,” Gillette said.
