In anticipation of Autism Awareness Month this April, Nimble Crane is set to make a powerful statement by unveiling a Grove GMK5150L all-terrain crane adorned with a vibrant wrap dedicated to the cause.
The company's involvement in autism awareness stems from VP of Business Josh Robbins, a close friend of a parent with an autistic child, who has been a prominent advocate for many years. Robbins, using his passion for softball, actively raises awareness. Nimble Crane's workforce includes individuals with autistic children, reinforcing the company's dedication to the cause.
Ben Ellis, President of Nimble Crane, expressed the company's intent to leverage its platform for meaningful change. "We aim to shed light on autism awareness while addressing other pertinent social issues within our community," said Ellis. "This initiative marks the first time one of our cranes will serve as an ambassador for autism awareness to both the oilfield and the supporting community."
Although Nimble Crane has supported autism awareness previously, this marks the first time one of its active cranes will feature a colorful wrap. In April, the company plans to share images of the crane on its website and social media platforms, accompanied by details on fundraising initiatives for autism awareness.
Nimble Crane is no stranger to supporting community charities through flag-flying ceremonies, having previously showcased a Grove GMK7550 crane with a wrap paying tribute to veterans on Veterans Day 2023.
"Our veterans' wrap resonated with numerous people in our company and community," added Ellis. "Our goal is to launch a newly wrapped GMK on a social topic that is paramount to us and the community every time we purchase a new Grove. We have three more that we plan on launching in the future."
