New Publication Focuses on Lifting Equipment

Lift and Access Premier Issue

November 3, 2004—We at LiftandAccess.com and Lift and Access 360 eMagazine are proud to announce the debut of Lift and Access magazine, a bi-monthly print publication dedicated to in-depth coverage of lifting equipment in North American construction and rental markets. The premier November/December 2004 issue mails to readers this week.

The focus of the new magazine is to provide detailed information and unbiased evaluations of the newest lifting products and latest technologies, along with educating readers on the many aspects of owning and using the equipment. The annual Lift and Access Equipment Guide, industry focused supplements, and the twice-monthly eMagazine, Lift and Access 360, complement the magazine.

The combined circulation of the printed magazine and the eMagazine provides an unduplicated 25,000 readers. Readership includes management of national and independent rental firms, equipment sales and service companies, component manufacturers and other suppliers, plus lift equipment users like contractors, governmental agencies and in-plant personnel. More than two-thirds of the circulation goes to decision-makers responsible for purchasing lifting equipment and components.

Lift and Access and Lift and Access 360 are published by Ramsey Management Services under the direction of Guy Ramsey, a 28-year veteran of the lift and access industry. Mr. Ramsey has been a rental company manager and owner; a consultant to OEM manufacturers, rental companies and equipment distributors; and he was publisher of The Lift Leader magazine and founder of the Lift Equipment Rodeo.

Editor of the new Lift and Access magazine is Katie Parrish, former Managing Editor of Lift Applications and Equipment and CraneWorks magazines.

Consulting Editor for Lift and Access magazine and Editor of Lift and Access 360, the eMagazine, is Tracy Bennett who has more than 10 years experience in the lifting industry as the former Editorial Director of Lift Equipment and CraneWorks magazines.
