New Integrated Hydrostatic Transmission System from Sauer Danfoss

Sauer-Danfoss PVG-100

The PVG-100 is one part of an integrated power transmission system.

March 23, 2005 • Sauer-Danfoss, Ames, Iowa, has taken a giant step toward improving efficiencies in compliance with The Clean Air Act. The company introduced at ConExpo a totally integrated hydrostatic transmission system.

The transmission and control system series includes a new generation of H-1 servo-controlled hydrostatic pumps, intended for medium- and high-power mobile markets. PVG-100 electro-hydraulic proportional valves and the Plus-One™ electronic communications network bring a new dimension of connectivity and performance to the marketplace. Together this totally integrated system is designed to deliver vastly improved hydraulic power transmission performance.

The PVG is a smart proportional valve that has the ability to be used as a stand-alone product or as part of a modular application. Plus-One is an operating system comprised of both hardware and software, utilizing CAN communications. Its input and output modules can be stacked and it can interface with either a PDA or Laptop computer. While these systems are all designed to work together they can be utilized individually with other existing systems. Go to www.sauer-danfoss.com for information.
