Nelson Manufacturing Company has officially broken ground on a new final assembly and office building, marking a significant multi-million-dollar investment. This expansion will create 18 new jobs and increase the plant's footprint by 73,000 square feet.
The facility, located west of the existing campus along State Route 224, will enhance production capacity and improve workflow safety and ergonomics. This development underscores Nelson's commitment to growth and innovation.
“As products continue to evolve both in size and technologically, we also must change our manufacturing process. We have outgrown our existing facility, and the expansion will allow us to be more productive so that we can meet the increased demand for our products. We doubled our production capability in 2008 and added a High Bay building in 2017. This new state of the art facility will allow us to continue to support our customer needs by providing a high-quality, custom-built product.” Stated Tony Niese, president of Nelson Manufacturing. Niese continued to state, “We plan to occupy the new facility in January 2026.”
