A Modulift CMOD 24 spreader frame played a key role in lifting iconic supercars at the renowned Goodwood Festival of Speed. Held annually in West Sussex, UK, the festival draws around 200,000 automotive enthusiasts eager to witness a showcase of historic and modern vehicles.
Southern Cranes & Access, a crane hire company from South-East England, utilized the CMOD spreader frame for the event's setup and takedown. The CMOD frame is known for its versatility, capable of handling loads with multiple lifting points due to its modular design.
Among the vehicles lifted was the Rolls-Royce Spectre, an all-electric coupe that debuted at last year's festival. The car features a striking Peony Pearl and Black Diamond finish, 23-inch wheels, and an interior adorned with nearly 5,000 illuminated stars.
“The CMOD is one of our most popular products, and is an extension of the original MOD spreader beam. Customers who already have MOD struts can simply add corner units to make the 4-point CMOD frame. The CMOD can also be combined with T-Pieces to make a 6- or 8-point CMOD Spreader Frame,” Sarah Spivey, managing director of Modulift, Said.
