MLE recently patented its load sending technology.
March 31, 2006 — Man & Material Lift Engineering, Cudahy, Wis., recently received patent No. 7,004,285 for its load sensing system. With the need for increased productivity and platform load carrying capabilities, the company's Quad Lifter product offers up to 3,000 pounds platform capacity.

To safely lift these heavy loads, the company developed its own load sensing system that is unaffected by platform load position or angular rotation. Its high-capacity lifts incorporate this safety system along with boom length and angle sensors that will automatically stop any motion that would cause a potential unsafe situation. The platform load sensing system information is fed back to the operator with a display that identifies platform capacity and actual load in platform.
