Maxim Announces Executive Hires and Promotion

Mar. 29, 2023 - Maxim Crane Works L.P. recently promoted Nick Oldfield to vice president of digital and marketing, hired Rebecca Bolchalk as chief human resources officer, and hired David H. Reed as vice president of information technology.

In his new role as vice president of digital and marketing, Oldfield is responsible for digital and marketing efforts to build Maxim’s brand among key stakeholders. He reports to CEO Paul McDonnell and is based in Maxim’s Wilder, Kentucky, office.

Oldfield joined Maxim in 2021 as marketing director.

He has more than 15 years of experience leading projects and teams in a variety of industries and company sizes.

Before joining Maxim, Oldfield was marketing director for Cohen Recycling, a large family-owned scrap metal and electronics recycler in southwestern Ohio.

His other experience includes marketing leadership roles at Cincinnati Financial, Pearle Vision, and EyeMed Vision Care.

Rebecca Bolchalk joins the company as chief human resources officer.

She is responsible for all aspects of Maxim’s talent strategy, from recruiting to onboarding, leadership development, benefits, performance management, and employee engagement.

She is based in Maxim’s Wilder, Kentucky corporate office and reports to CEO Paul McDonnell.

Bolchalk brings more than two decades of experience to Maxim.

She most recently was vice president of human resources at a company that manufactures aviation components.

She previously was HR director at L Brands, a leading retailer, and at Batesville Casket Co. She earned an MBA from Ball State University.

David Reed has joined Maxim as vice president of information technology. His innovative solutions will enable Maxim to accelerate its growth and streamline operations. He reports to Maxim CFO Sean Collopy and work in Maxim’s Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, office.

Reed brings more than 20 years of IT leadership experience to Maxim. He most recently served as director of IT infrastructure and operations at Highmark Wholecare, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
