Manitou Introduces Smallest Telehander

March 17, 2005 • Manitou North America, Waco, Texas, introduced at ConExpo what may be the smallest telehandler on the market. The SLT415, also called the TWISCO™, features big machine capabilities while coming in a package capable of driving through a 66”x75” wide opening. Its compact size opens the door for many new material handling applications.

 

Power is derived from a 50-hp Perkins engine and a hydrostatic drive system. Maximum lift height is 155 inches with a total maximum capacity of 3,000 pounds. Overall weight for the “micro” telehandler is 5,250 pounds, which means it can be easily transported behind a properly equipped pick-up truck.
