March 9, 2005—Link-Belt Construction Equipment Company, Lexington, Ky., will exhibit six cranes and announce other products next week at ConExpo in Las Vegas, Nev. Highlights include the new 218 HYLAB (Hydraulic Lattice Boom) HSL, the first design resulting from the Hitachi-Sumitomo-Link-Belt alliance. Other changes to the HYLAB series include a new counterweight removal system and bar pendants on the 248 HYLAB 5 lattice boom crawler crane and two new attachments for the 348 HYLAB 5.

 

Also on display will be the RTC-8060 Series II rough terrain crane; the second generation ATC-3130 SII all-terrain crane with a new third axle; and the HTC-8690 telescopic truck crane will be showcased with new rear steer capability. Go to www.linkbelt.com for information.
