Link-Belt Product Manager Curnutte to Retire
February 25, 2019 - Rick Curnutte, Link-Belt Cranes’ product manager for telescopic truck and all-terrain cranes will retire on April 1, 2019, after 31 years with the company.
Curnutte joined Link-Belt as an associate design engineer in 1987 after graduating from the University of Kentucky with a degree in mechanical engineering.
He was heavily involved with what became the industry-leading HTC-8670 project and also contributed significantly to RTC projects of that era.
In 1996, Curnutte transitioned to product marketing, taking on the role of product marketing specialist for hydraulic truck cranes. In 2004, he became marketing manager for all on-highway products.
As product manager for on-highway crane groups, Curnutte helped set the course for Link-Belt’s entry into the ATC product segment as the company developed its ATC product line.
Curnutte has been active in the Association of Equipment Manufacturer’s Statistics Committee since joining in 2008. He has served as statistics chairman since 2013.
“Rick can leave Link-Belt knowing that he has made contributions that will be integral to the continued success of Link-Belt Cranes for a long time to come,” said Pat Collins, director of product marketing at Link-Belt Cranes.
