Link-Belt 175|AT Replaces Video Boards at Cincinnati Stadium

Jan.26, 2022 – D Crane Rental of Walton, Kentucky, replaced old video boards and installed new ones at Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio, home field of the NFL’s Cincinnati Bengals.

Along with the video boards, D Crane Rental replaced structural steel for new supports with its new Link-Belt 175-ton 175|AT all-terrain crane.

The new, larger, 30’x40’ video board made of three sections, each 10’x40’ and weighing 4,500 lbs.

“We placed the new digital boards and built out the frames for new billboards to go alongside,” said D Crane Rental operator, Mark Dukes.

The 175|AT has Link-Belt’s 55’, three-piece, offsettable SmartFly jib, which D Crane used to lift the old framework for the previous video board.

“Great craftsmanship on the SmartFly, I really like it. Especially with the wireless remote, it is really easy to use,” said Dukes. “When we get in a tight city spot, and you’ve got walls or the canopy like we do here up high, having the SmartFly is very handy.”

Hamilton County officials bought the new $590,000 video board to upgrade and replace an exterior stadium marquee at Paul Brown Stadium in downtown Cincinnati. The boards are in direct line of sight to motorists crossing the Brent Spence Bridge on Interstate 75/Interstate 71 over the Ohio River.
