Link-Belt has appointed Pat Collins as its new Director of Sales, effective July 1, 2025. The announcement was made by Bill Stramer, Senior Vice President of Marketing, Sales and Customer Support, at the company’s headquarters in Lexington, Kentucky.
Collins brings nearly five decades of experience in the crane and construction equipment industry. His career with Link-Belt began in 1979, when he joined as a product training instructor with FMC Link-Belt. Over the years, he has taken on various roles, including district service representative in the Rocky Mountain region and later Product Manager for Crawler Cranes, after relocating to Lexington in 1989.
Since then, Collins has played a key role in Link-Belt’s marketing and sales operations, contributing to the development and introduction of innovative telescopic and lattice crane designs. In 2013, he was promoted to Director of Product Marketing, further solidifying his leadership within the company.
“Pat has built strong relationships with Link-Belt distributors and customers throughout his career,” said Bill Stramer. “From his early days in Cedar Rapids to today, he has been a dedicated advocate for Link-Belt and a respected figure in the crane industry. We are confident he will excel in his new role.”
As Director of Sales, Collins will oversee sales strategies, distributor relations and continued growth initiatives for Link-Belt. His extensive industry knowledge and longstanding history with the company position him well to lead the sales team into the future.
