December 6, 2004—Link-Belt Construction Equipment Co., Lexington, Ky., announces that its newly created position of Vice President, Corporate Development and Subsidiary Operations will be filled by John Claflin, currently Vice President • Sales, Marketing and Product Support. Claflin assumes the position January 1, 2005. Meanwhile, Bill Stramer will take on the duties of Vice President • Marketing, Sales and Customer Support. Stramer's most recent position, which he has held since 1994, was as Director of Marketing and Sales.
