Liebherr has upgraded its K series of fast-erecting cranes, incorporating intelligent assistance systems and revamped designs to meet evolving construction site demands.
The updated series includes the 43 K, 61 K, 91 K and a new version of the 125 K, offering improved performance, enhanced safety and advanced control systems.
Liebherr’s new intelligent assistance systems, now standard across the K series, provide functionalities to enhance safety and usability. Features like sway-free load lifting and semi-automated lifts improve operational efficiency while safeguarding personnel and crane components. These advancements align with Liebherr’s commitment to continuously adapting its equipment to the changing requirements of global construction projects.
In addition to the intelligent systems, the K cranes retain features like variable hook heights, tight-space maneuverability and advanced functions such as Speed2Lift, Load-Plus and Micromove. These enhancements ensure maximum lifting speeds, increased lifting capacities and precise load positioning. Notably, the crane names now reflect their lifting capacities under the Load-Plus feature for easier identification.
The revamped K series introduces the Liebherr Control 5 system, comprising a durable control unit, the Liebherr Display 5 and advanced I/O modules. Already proven in Liebherr’s L series cranes, this system enhances user experience with intuitive navigation and self-explanatory symbols.
The new Tower Crane Operating System 2 is another highlight, offering a streamlined interface and standardized radio control across all K and L series cranes, ensuring ease of operation and cross-compatibility.
Meet the Upgraded K Series
43 K
The smallest crane in the series, the 43 K, offers remarkable flexibility with 11 hook height options, a maximum hook height of 99 feet, and a radius of up to 115 feet. It succeeds the 34 K model.
61 K
The 61 K replaces the 53 K and is designed for maximum performance with a hook height of up to 109 feet and a 141 foot radius. A new luffed position of up to 30-degrees adds versatility for diverse site requirements.
91 K
The 91 K, successor to the 81 K.1, is a versatile solution for both multi-occupancy buildings and industrial projects. Its proven design is now upgraded to tackle future construction challenges.
125 K
The flagship of the series, the 125 K, combines the power of a top-slewing crane with the mobility of a fast-erecting crane. With a maximum hook height of 136 feet, a radius of 180 feet, and a 17,637-pound lifting capacity, it remains unmatched in its class.
With these upgrades, Liebherr reaffirms its dedication to innovation, safety and efficiency in crane technology. The new K series is now available, ready to support construction projects worldwide with reliability and performance.
