Liebherr has introduced the LTM 1120-4.2, a 120-ton mobile crane equipped with the advanced LICCON3 control system (Liebherr Computed Control), offering enhanced safety, efficiency and convenience.
As part of Liebherr's efforts to upgrade existing models, the LTM 1120-4.1 has been converted into the LTM 1120-4.2, incorporating technology while retaining its impressive performance parameters and lifting capacities. Notably, this crane features the TraXon DynamicPerform oil-cooled clutch for smoother operation and driver assistance systems to improve road safety.
The LICCON3 system marks a significant technological leap, boasting faster data processing, expanded memory and enhanced usability. Crane operators benefit from a seamless transition to the new system, with a familiar interface and a large touchscreen display in the superstructure cab.
The system also includes telemetry and fleet management capabilities via the MyLiebherr customer portal, enabling users to monitor and optimize crane performance remotely.
The LTM 1120-4.2 maintains its reputation as the most powerful 4-axle crane on the market.
With a 66-meter (216.5-foot) telescopic boom, it rivals larger 5-axle cranes in lifting capabilities, particularly at height. Its compact design, coupled with Liebherr's VarioBase and VarioBallast systems, makes it ideal for tight construction sites, offering both flexibility and superior performance.
Additional features such as a modernized driver's cabin, advanced lighting and RemoteDrive technology further enhance the crane’s functionality and ease of operation.
