Largest Excel Planetary Gear Drive from Fairfield

18000 Excel is the largest in Fairfield's torque-hub planetary gear drive family.

March 23, 2005 • Fairfield Manufacturing Co. introduces the third and final model in its Excel family of Torque-Hub planetary gear drives. The Excel series, which debuted in 2003, is designed to provide a compact, versatile and highly efficient planetary final drive suitable for a wide range of mobile construction, industrial and off-highway equipment applications.

 

The new 18000 series Excel drive is the largest member of the Excel line with a maximum torque capacity of 160,000 lb. in. (18,000 Nm). The 18000 planetary joins the existing 7000 (7000 Nm or 60,000 lb. in.) and 11000 (11,000 Nm or 160,000 lb. in.) series units. Visit www.fairfieldmfg.com for information.
