January 23, 2006 -- Koenig Cranes North America recently made Jcrane Inc., Covington, Ohio, its newest dealer. An established mobile crane company with more than 25 years of experience in the Ohio marketplace, Jcrane will offer the entire line of Koenig self-erecting tower cranes and Wilbert tower cranes.

“We feel that self erecting cranes will have a large impact on the future of the construction industry in North America, and we are glad for the opportunity to be a part of it,” said Jcrane Owner Jack Stull. “We will continue to provide the same top quality customer service we've built our business on as we expand our horizons. We see the Koenig brand along with the technical and sales support they offer as a big part of our ability to bring top value to our customers.”

In other news, Koenig received a major order recently from its Pacific Northwest Dealer (Eagle West Tower Cranes, Inc.) for eight Koenig self-erecting tower cranes to be delivered in February. By adding four Koenig K45Ts and four K1545TKHs to its fleet, Eagle West Tower Crane plans to hit 40 self-erecting tower cranes by the end of 2006.

“The overall quality and capacity of the Koenig cranes is what sells them to us and to our customers,” said Eagle Manager Ryan Burton. “The service heights and total lifting capacity we are now getting from these cranes when combined with the manufacturing standards set by the Koenig factory and after sales and service support we get from the U.S. distributor make ownership of a large and growing rental fleet a true partnership in terms of our growing rental and sales business. The bottom line is the Koenig brand and team is something you can count on at every level from factory to field.”
