JLG Launches ServicePLUS

July 9, 2004 - JLG Industries, McConnellsburg, Pa., announced it has expanded into the service and support arena by establishing ServicePlus, a wholly owned subsidiary of JLG. In response to its customers' needs, services offered through ServicePLUS facilities will range from preventive maintenance programs to general repairs to the reconditioning of any brand of JLG equipment.

Initially, service and support will be handled in Houston at a facility with 35 service bays and related infrastructure on a 7.5 acre site. The facility is projected to be opened August 1, 2004.

“Orders for service are already being taken,” Joseph Gullion, president of ServicePlus, said. “Many of our customers recognize the ability to reduce their costs by having a dedicated third party organization ... address their maintenance, repair, and overhaul needs.”
