IronPlanet Completes $10 Million Auction

August 5, 2005 —IronPlanet (www.ironplanet.com), one of the largest auction companies of heavy equipment in North America, sold $10 million of equipment and trucks in its July 28 auction, which drew more than 8,500 registered auction attendees from across the United States and 21 other countries.

“The value of our guaranteed inspection reports surpasses international borders,” said Bob Alleger, CEO of IronPlanet. “Buyers participated from as far away as the Netherlands, Nigeria, and Columbia.”
