IPAF Announces New President and Board Member

Incoming IPAF President Pierre Saubot

June 16, 2004 - Taking over as president of the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) is Pierre Saubot, chairman of Pinguely-Haulotte, L'Horme, France . Saubot replaces Peter Bennett. IPAF also announces new board member Bill Lasky, chairman, president, and chief executive of JLG Industries, McConnellsburg, Pa.

According to Tim Whiteman, managing director of IPAF, the organization trained 33,480 people through its 134 training centers last year, which is a 30% increase over the number of people trained in 2002.


In making a commitment to members to develop and expand member services Saubot pledged; "We have to convince you that it is your association to help develop your business efficiently." He also looked forward to an even greater level of international influence, which includes working towards world-wide harmonization of regulations and standards.
