April 20, 2005 • Seven models of FH telehandlers are now available from Haulotte US, Hanover, Md., to the North American market. In an agreement the French manufacturer made last year with German company Faresin, Haulotte initially planned to distribute the telehandlers in Europe.

Currently the models available to U.S. and Canadian buyers range from the 3,300-pound capacity FH 33-25 to the 8,800-pound FH 88-56, several of which, including the middle-of-the-range FH 66-56, were on display at ConExpo last month.

The FH 66-56 is rated at 6,600-pound maximum lift capacity and features a 55'9” lift height. With boom extended to its maximum height, the telehandler can lift 5,512 pounds, and at its maximum outreach of 42'8” it can lift 440 pounds when on stabilizers.

The unit is powered by a Deutz BF4M 2012 diesel engine with a 2,500 rpm output and fully hydrostatic transmission featuring continuous speed control. The FH 66-56 weighs 26,234 pounds and measures 7'7” wide by 8'6” long.
