Haulotte Announces New Name, Product Lines, Sales Update

October 19, 2005 — Celebrating its 20th anniversary, Pinguely-Haulotte, L'Horme, France, recently unveiled a new company name and logo. Recognizing the importance of the Haulotte trade name, the name change to the “Haulotte Group” also reflects the company's emphasis on developing an international market for its products.

The Haulotte Group made the announcement and presented a new company logo at the APEX Show held September 22-24 in Maastricht, Holland. The new logo features an angular design of two chevrons, which represents the unfolding of an articulated boom. This movement, along with the symbolic arrow, is representative of constantly moving forward.

"Graphic design is not just a strategic resource • this change reflects our passion and desire,” explains Haulotte Managing Director Alexandre Saubot. “We want to work alongside our customers on their projects by providing quality services and advice, being ever more responsive, available and efficient. This new logo sums up our identity and reflects our desire to keep on moving on."

Recently introduced at the APEX show in Holland, the Haulotte Group unveiled several new products, including the HTB series of truck-mounted aerial lifts (left) and SXL series of RT scissors (far left).

During the show the company unveiled its newest products, including two all-new lines. The SXL series of rough t errain scissor lifts includes three models in 39-, 49-, and 59-foot platform heights. A key feature of these diesel-powered scissor lifts are their oversized platforms measuring 24 feet long and rated at 1,545 pounds.

Also new is the HTB series of truck-mounted aerial lifts, the company's first entry into this market. Three models, with 52-, 59-, and 66-foot platform heights, are being targeted at rental companies, local municipalities, and logistics companies. Key features include constant boom outreach management, set-up cycles, simultaneous movements, automatic detection and return to transport position, memory for repeated tasks, and rapid dismount platform.
