Grove's YardBoss Line Enhanced

August 4, 2005 — YardBoss industrial cranes from Grove have been relaunched with improved features, new benefits, and a greater choice of models. Making their debut at ConExpo this year, there are seven new YardBoss models ranging in size from 8.5 tons (US) to 20 tons (US), including two long boom or XL versions available on the YB4409 and YB7720 models. The largest crane in the YardBoss line, the YB7720XL (pictured) is a 20-ton (US) carry deck crane that offers a main boom of 67 feet.

Delivering excellent lifting capabilities, on outriggers and in pick-and-carry applications, the YardBoss crane offers many enhancements. For example, all units from the YB4409 through to the YB5518 are available with a choice of a standard dual fuel (gasoline/LP) or optional diesel engine. A pivoting boom head, which can be lowered for work in areas where headroom is limited, is available on the YB4411, YB5518, YB7720 and YB7720XL models. Four-wheel coordinated steering is offered as standard on the YB4409, YB4409XL, YB4411, and YB5515 models. The YB5518, YB7720 and the YB7720XL are equipped with standard 2- and 4-wheel steering and crab steer with electronic self alignment.
