July 26, 2005— William D. Gehl, chairman and chief executive officer of Gehl Co., announced the appointment of James J. Monnat to the position of treasurer today. Monnat joined Gehl in January 2005. Before joining Gehl, Monnat served as CFO and Treasurer of WE Power LLC, a Wisconsin Energy subsidiary responsible for the design, development, and construction of additional power generation. Prior to his role with Wisconsin Energy, Monnat was treasurer of WICOR, Inc. Monnat received his bachelor's and master's of tax degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
