October 2015 - A ground crew member on a state highway-widening project was killed when a wooden pile cushion fell from a crane and struck him in the head. The pile cushion was being used with a pile-driver attached to a lattice-boom crawler crane when it fell some 50 ft. The man was rushed to a local hospital and pronounced dead there.
