Engineered Rigging has expanded its rental-ready heavy lifting equipment fleet by adding another Enerpac SBL500 Hydraulic Gantry. This versatile equipment is ideal for infrastructure projects in various sectors, including ports, railways, power plants and industrial facilities, where traditional cranes are impractical, and overhead cranes are not feasible.
The Enerpac SBL500 boasts a 500-ton capacity and features four legs equipped with internal three-stage double-acting hydraulic cylinders. Its octagonal boom design provides enhanced strength, while the fixed boom and self-propelled steel wheels allow for easy travel on skid tracks. Each lifting tower is outfitted with a counterbalance valve, stroke sensor, and pressure transducers, designed for use with the Intelli-Lift Wireless Control System.
To ensure safety, trained technicians can remotely operate the lifting towers either independently or as a synchronized group using the Intelli-Lift control system. Alternatively, if site conditions require, the towers can be operated via a control cable. The Intelli-Lift system offers several additional features, including:
“The addition of another 500-ton hydraulic gantry, the Enerpac SBL500, to our rental fleet demonstrates our commitment to providing customers with heavy lifting solutions for their biggest jobs,” said Christopher E.
