Dropped Load - Boston

July 2015 - An ironworker was critically injured in a 40-ft. fall at Logan International Airport. A 32-ton concrete panel he was trying to secure apparently fell from a crane, which was hoisting it during construction of a parking garage, and he fell as well. The worker who suffered serious injuries, according to news reports, was rushed to a local hospital.  The construction company on the job, Massachusetts Port Authority, State Police, and OSHA, are investigating. – www.bostonglobe.com
