Denka Lift Purchases Reachmaster

March 23, 2005 -- Denka Lift A/S, Holbaek, Denmark, parent company of Denka Lift USA, announced it has purchased all aerial lift activities of E. Falck Schmidt A/S, Odense, Denmark, which includes Reachmaster in the United States. Together, the new company is called Worldlift Industries A/S.

 

According to a company release, both E. Falck Schmidt and Denka Lift products are complementary and are among the most recognized products in their segment. Heading up Worldlift Industries is Michael Falck Schmidt as managing director, Steffen Kremmer as financial director, and Nils Bo Molholm as director of Holbaek.

 

Worldlift Industries A/S will continue producing trailer lifts in Holbaek and van- and truck-mounted lifts and compacts lifts (Spiders or Falcons) in Odense. The future product lines are Denka-branded trailer lifts, Falck Schmidt-branded van-mounted lifts, and Falcon-branded Spider and Narrow lifts.
