July 2016 – Two people were killed in a highway collision between a mobile construction crane and a car. The crane, traveling northbound on the highway, was approaching an intersection when the vehicle made a left turn in front of the rig. The collision killed the vehicle’s passenger at the scene; the driver died days later at a hospital. The crane driver was uninjured. Local police are investigating. - www.thespec.com
