Crane Accident: New Orleans, La.

December 2012—A crane operator who was demolishing an existing hospital to make room for a new one, died when falling concrete struck his head and chest. Although other workers were at the site, nobody witnessed the accident. The operator was reportedly working to meet a tight deadline when the accident happened. The cause remains under investigation.
