Crane Accident: Milwaukee, Wis.
January 2012–Wind may have been a factor in an accident at the Port of Milwaukee in which a worker feel 8 feet onto a crane’s carbody. The worker, who injured a shoulder and elbow, was lowering the boom on one crane as it was being moved from one terminal to another. In the process, a piece of equipment shifted and knocked the worker down. The worker had to be rescued by the Heavy Ruban Rescue Team. Milwaukee Police are investigating. — todaystmj4.com
