Crane Accident: Franzen,Wis.

A 25-year-old man was listed in fair condition after an incident with a crane at an auto salvage yard. While the man was inside a car retrieving an item, a crane operator lifted the car to put it into a crusher, the sheriff's department said. Before the car was placed in the machine, the crane operator saw the man's legs dangling from the car, and the crane operator put the car back on the ground. The man suffered non-life-threatening injuries to his shoulder, ribs, and legs when he was lifted inside the vehicle by the crane. OSHA is investigating. -Wausau Daily Herald
